A bit about North End Yoga

We focus on Yoga Therapy. Both Terrilee and Christina are certified in Yoga Therapy and Ashtanga Yoga by Manju Jois and are both Rapid Neurofascial Reset Specialists.

Yoga is more than a stretching class and we will help you learn the therapeutic benefits of the practice. Each pose (asana) has a physical benefit that is more that just stretching your muscles. Yoga has been proven to be effective for many ailments including Back Pain, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s Disease, Sleep Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Heart Disease, Inflammation and other ailments. Our therapists will help you get out of pain and can help you with many other issues that can affect your daily life.

What is RAPID NeuroFascial Reset?

RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (often shortened to RNFR) is focused on the central nervous system. Using soft tissue movements, it helps to relieve restrictions in the muscles, fascia, nerves, and ligaments.

It can play a significant role in releasing tension, relieving pain, and restoring the function of the body’s tissues. Rather than simply treating the symptoms underlying these issues, it aims to detect and correct the neurological source of them. RAPID NeuroFascial Reset, offers relief from many physical conditions that affect the soft tissues. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Tendonitis
  • Sciatica
  • Bursitis
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Whiplash
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • TMJ/TMD
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Shin Splints
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Golfer’s Elbow
  • Arthritis
  • Bunions

Clients may also want to treat the underlying sources of more general conditions, such as headaches and migraines, back pain, shoulder pain, or knee pain. RNFR can also be a good treatment option if clients have scar tissue from surgeries, c-sections, or other procedures, or if they have past or recent injuries. Even long-term conditions and scarring can be treated using RNFR.

Just want Yoga Classes? We do that too!!

We offer daily yoga classes and workshops too. We specialize in Ashtanga Yoga.  The name Ashtanga Yoga means “8 limbs” in Sanskrit and is based on traditional yoga principles. Ashtanga Yoga is taught in two complementary formats, Mysore style or Led classes and we offer both and we have Beginner Yoga Classes too! (We LOVE beginner yoga). Christina and Terrilee both come to the mat with the experience that they have learned through a life-long yoga study. We love helping people feel less pain in their bodies.
